The score is meant to be a starting point for research, not a verdict. Here's the pipeline behind it, in order.
Market prices, company fundamentals, earnings data, and public signals get pulled in and refreshed on a schedule. We show when a data point was last updated wherever we can.
Raw data gets sorted into categories that are easier to reason about than one giant number — things like activity, momentum, quality, financial strength, valuation, and risk.
Each category gets normalized so a company can be compared against the rest of the universe, not just against itself.
Once something is on the watchlist, we keep its original entry date and follow it until it's closed out. Month-end is just a checkpoint for reporting — it's not when we stop watching.
