Headquartered in San Diego, California, its principal pump platforms are the t:slim X2 and Tandem Mobi, both of which use the company's Control-IQ+ software with compatible continuous glucose monitors. Tandem was founded in 2006 and introduced its first pump, the touchscreen t:slim, in 2012. The company became publicly traded on the Nasdaq in 2013.
